According to GAIKINDO retail data, JAECOO J5 EV sales reached 1,942 units in January, increased to 2,926 units in February, and remained strong at 2,775 units in March. In March, the J5 EV also became the number one best-selling model in Indonesia’s Electric Vehicle segment.
Jim Ma added that the enthusiasm for the J5 EV continues to show a positive trend and has become an important growth driver for JAECOO in Indonesia. He also noted the brand’s optimism about reaching its target of delivering 13,000 J5 EV units to customers by the end of April, supported by a smoother and more efficient distribution process.
During JAECOO LAND 2026, visitors also had the opportunity to test drive several models, including the J5 EV, J7 SHS-P, and J8 SHS-P ARDIS. The test drive experience allowed customers to learn more about electric vehicles and JAECOO’s Super Hybrid System, which is designed to support efficiency and flexibility in everyday use.
